Materials and Methods: Hand hammered cold forged bronze, Tig welding, tendril weave, hot ferric and cuprite nitrate patina.

This piece and its sister piece "A Quiet End to Summer" were made in remembrance of two kind souls that passed in close succession. The flower is at the end of its bloom, the petals have dropped, yet it still rises up towards the sky.
