Materials and Methods: Hand hammered cold forged bronze, Tig welding, tendril weave, hot ferric nitrate and silver nitrate patina.

This piece is based on a traditional egg basket. The bottom is domed to keep the eggs separated. The eggs are a symbol of birth and the calla lilly represents death. This vessel form holds my aspirations for the future. I created this piece soon after major changes in my life, a surgery and a loss of a loved one. It represents the rebirth of my body and spirit.
